Guitars in Bars
Guitar in Bars and other places is taking the Adelaide Guitar Festival to the pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants and exhibition spaces across South Australia with a series of free and ticketed gigs.
Featuring the best of Adelaide’s live music scene, Adelaide Casino are proud to be involved as a venue, showcasing several talented local musicians at free events over July and August.
Monday 18th July, 6pm, Madame Hanoi
Lincoln Brady is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, London and the University of Adelaide. He has taught for 30 years and is a former Lecturer in Guitar at the ‘Australian Institute of Music’ (Sydney) and at the former ‘Flinders St. School of Music’ (Adelaide). Lincoln has performed in a variety of guitar styles on TV as a soloist and in several bands and ensembles with some of the best local musicians in many of the best venues.
Thursday 28th July, 6pm, Sean's Kitchen
Marcus Toop is a talented guitarist specializing in solo acoustic covers ranging from Johnny Cash to Jet and beyond. He also hosts a variety of open mic events all over the city.

Cal Williams Jr & Billy The Tree
Billy the Tree is an experimental freewheeling musician who creates roots and blues delivering a groovy momentous performance.
Multi-award winning Blues singer/songwriter, Cal Williams Jr, has recently completed his third studio album entitled ‘Honeychild’. Cal has drawn upon the rich roots of early Delta Blues and British fingerstyle folk to create an album that is warm, intimate and spiced with Cal’s unique brand of slide guitar.

The Todd Blokland Band are an energetic jazz-fusion quintet.
