Vegas Star

Vegas Star is a popular electronic casino game. Just like Blackjack, but with the privacy of your own terminal.

How to play Vegas Star

• Insert note(s) to receive on-screen credits.


• To place Bets during the Betting period, select the desired Betting chip and touch inside the area marked ‘Player Bet’ or any other optional wagers. Complete all betting before the countdown reaches zero.

• You and each other Player will be dealt two cards face up in a clockwise direction, with the Dealer’s second card being dealt face up using a random card generator.

• The Dealer display screen will show the Dealer’s hand which will also be displayed on each Player’s terminal.

• The Player sitting on the right most side of the Dealer display will be prompted to play first. Options include ‘Hit’, ‘Stand’ and in some instances, ‘Double Down’, ‘Split’ and ‘Insurance’ if the option isavailable. These functions are available from the touch screen orbutton panel.

• A new game will commence once the result has been finalised and all winning Bets have been paid.

• Minimum and maximum Bets are determined by game limits.

• If an interruption occurs during game play and the game result can be determined, the Player is paid accordingly, otherwise the game is void. In the event of a void game all Bets are returned to the Player as a win

Vegas Star Blackjack game rules

• Five decks of 52 cards are used (no Jokers).
• Dealer must Hit on 16 and Stand on soft 17.
• Dealer cannot Split or Double Down.
• Blackjack after Split is counted as 21.
• Player can Split only once, and no further Split will be offered.
• Double Down permitted after Splitting.
• Players can Double Down on the first two cards dealt with a hand value of 9, 10 or 11.
• Betting time ends three to five seconds after last Bet placed. Time out on any play will be 15 seconds – Player is made to stand otherwise.
• Insurance wager only applicable if the Dealer has Ace card facing up.
• Insurance wager will be half the initial Bet value.
• If all Players have a Blackjack or have bust, the Dealer will deal two cards only.
• Game ends if Dealer has Blackjack.
• A stand off between Player and Dealer will result in the Player’s Bet being returned and awarded to the win meter then transferred to the credit meter.
• Insurance, Double Down and Split are only available on the condition that there are sufficient credits on the credit meter.
• Each game will commence with a shuffling of all cards before a new hand is dealt.

Bet Locations

Highlight chip to activate then touch location to place Bet. All Bets are placed in designated areas on each terminal.
All chip values will be added to make one total Bet. Bets will be placed automatically when the insurance Bet area is touched during the insurance countdown.

 

What's Blackjack?

Blackjack is when you get an Ace and any 10 or picture card with your first two cards. It pays one and a half times your bet (unless the dealer also draws Blackjack, which results in a 'stand-off').
